The Cranbrook & District Kennel Club sponsored their 47th Annual Dog Shows and Rally Obedience Trials on August 23-25, 2019 at picturesque Moir Park in the remote community of Cranbrook, British Columbia nestled in the heart of the majestic Rocky Mountains in western Canada.

the Welsh Kennel Club championship show took place from Friday 16th - Sunday 18th August at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells. There were 7224 dogs making 8446 entries in total.

It is getting more and more difficult for clubs to organise their yearly dog shows. One of the shows that has had serious problems is the show of Mechelen.

The Bournemouth Canine Association committee and helpers had their steel tested this year, with winds of up to 60 mph zipping through Dorset the night prior to the show, and were then subsequently plagued by incredibly strong winds throughout day one.

THIS SHOW is always a favourite show with Gundog exhibitors, and this year did not disappoint. Chris Bexon, Honorary Secretary for the last 22 years, ably assisted by his wife told me: ‘The secret of it is, a good team of people who want to work together for one aim.’

Paignton is one of the UK’s national treasures, slightly off the beaten track but loved by so many, with a great committee who work so hard to bring a consistently good show to us all each year.
