With an entry of 1,233 dogs, the organisers of the latest “Ambiorix Trophy” were quite happy. In 2017 they still had an entry of 1,738 and last year 1,513. If we compare with all the other shows and the declining tendency, we are happy to have that many dogs.
The FCI have held an extraordinary meeting of the General Committee during their second Judges Congress which took place in Acapulco, Mexico immediately following the America’s and Caribbean Section Show, to discuss procedures regarding World and Section shows.
Three counties championship show held a successful show up in the Malvern Hills. The weather was kind on the first day but unfortunately a small shower just before the groups led to the terrier group being judged inside followed shortly by the toys.
Thanks to the committee for the invitation to judge at their Championship show, the hospitality and being well looked after. To the exhibitors for entering the lovely dogs and the sporting way they accepted the decisions, there were lots of close ones to be made.
