Also pictured is President of the Russian KC, Alexsander Inshakov.

Libramont 2015

Written by Administrator
Last year was the first time round for this new show. In fact it was not a new show, as Libramont is the replacement of the Namur Dog Show, which was saved from disappearing by Mr Detry. While last year it was a CAC show, expectations were high this year for its first CACIB show.

Mallorca

BIS at the International Dog Show of Mallorca in memory of Jose Haro de Haro was the Jack Russell Terrier, Ch Granlasco A Beautiful Mind. The show was arranged in the memory of the popular Jose Haro Haro who was the President of the Kennel Club in Andalucia. Jose had great connections with the UK and often attended Crufts and the City of Birmingham shows; he was a great lover of Pointers and he was the organiser of shows in Jerez and Seville each year.

Adelaide Royal Show

Written by Administrator
THIS was Adelaide Royal’s 176th Show, attracting entries from the greater Adelaide area and inter-state. The show was held from Friday, 4th September to Sunday, 13th September and took place in the splendid David Roche Hall, aptly named, as David was a judge, in fact he judged Best in Show at Crufts in 1969.

Montgomery County

A glowing tribute from the American dog fancy to Mrs Dodge – in the form of 4,456 dogs entered at this year’s Madison event. This mark eclipses Crufts’ highest figure and without any doubt establishes Morris and Essex as the world’s greatest dog show.” Of course, this review of the show was written in 1939. Crufts has continued to grow and prosper, with current entries in excess of 20,000.

European Dog Show 2015 - Norway

Vince Hogan reports In our first look back on the European Dog Show which took place near Oslo last weekend, it seems a shame that the comments which we are hearing most are negative; many exhibitors are expressing disappointment on social media...

Liège 2015 Golden Dog Trophy

Written by Administrator

I wondered if the increase in entries for the Belgian dog shows had something to do with the Baby Class that is always so lovely to see. All those little soldiers lining up in the main ring and presenting themselves to the world. The catalogue of the show of Liège has several statistics, and one of them shows the number of dogs per class.

Debrecen Double International

Written by Administrator
Not by being the most exciting or hard competition made this the hottest show of the Debrecen Double International, simply just the air temperature, it was one of the hottest weekends in Hungary, it was about 36-37 degrees in shade. For ten years now, two international dog shows have been held in a weekend.

Turkish KC Show - Istanbul

Written by Administrator
The Turkish Kennel Club, held two International Night Shows on the 25th & 26th of July, in Istanbul. Kotka International All Breeds Show

Written by Administrator
It's hard to imagine a more picturesque setting than the venue for the 21st “Rose of Kotka” in Finland. The location for the International All Breeds Dog Show on August 15th was Katariina Seaside Park located at the southernmost tip of Kotka, a 20 hectare versatile park and recreational area which enjoys active use throughout the year.

Gotha - British Herding Breeds

Written by Administrator
I was delighted to be invited back to Germany for the tenth time - this time to judge The British Herding Breeds Club Show held in Gotha, a three hour drive from Frankfurt airport. The show was so well organised with excellent size rings and perfect ring officals plus wonderful weather all made this dog showing at its very best.

Farmdogs Club Champ Show

Written by Administrator
These charming little dogs probably have their origin in the Pinscher breeds and the British white terriers that Jack Russell and Fox Terriers also originate from. There are many paintings and photographs of these farmdogs from the 1800s to early 1900s although from paintings from the 1400s you can see dogs that are similar to todays Farmdogs.
