The Kennel Club in the UK is affected like everyone else in the world by the Coronavirus and its implications. A large number of Kennel Club staff have been furloughed and the remainder are working from home.
The Kennel Club has advised its Members that, because of the Coronavirus outbreak and the restrictions on unnecessary travel and personal contact introduced by the Government, its AGM, originally due to be held on May 12th, has been postponed (technically adjourned) until Tuesday June 30th at 11.30 a.m.

The introduction of Lucy’s law has been welcomed by The Kennel Club and the RSPCA. The ground breaking law to end the commercial third party sales of puppies came into law last Monday in England. It means that anyone wanting to buy a new puppy must buy directly from a breeder or consider adopting from a recognised rescue centre.
Lucy’s Law is here! LUCY’S LAW will finally become law on Monday 6 April. On that day the UK government will officially ban commercial thirdparty puppy sales with the ground-breaking legislation known as Lucy’s Law.
