The All Ireland Toy Dog Club Group 9 Championship show took place in Clonmel, County Tipperary last Sunday where Linda Mills and her team put on an excellent event in a relaxed atmosphere.

IT WAS an unexpected success, this small one day CAC show! The committee were worried, as it is only 50km away across the border with the Netherlands (Lommel is a border town in Tilburg) was a CACIB show the very same weekend. Did it help or not?

At the International Dog Show in Kotka, Finland on 16th and 17th June Best in Show was the Afghan Hound, Fin Ch Agha Djari’s Blue Blood, owned by Mikko Ylitalo & Arja Hirvelä & Michaela Ståhlberg from Finland. The Best in Show judge was Noreen Harris from Australia
TO Russia and back in four days! I was delighted to be invited back to Russia to judge for the third time. This time over the holiday weekend, June 10th and 11th 2012. 
JUST FOUR years after high winds had blown Blackpool show apart, the event has again suffered massively at the hands of the weather as torrential rain in the North West last Friday washed the show off the calendar in a deluge described by one judge as ‘a tempest’.
