Welsh Junior and Veteran 2021 cancelled

In a statement Martin Sanders told OUR DOGS: ‘This decision is due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has had a detrimental effect on the whole dog show calendar for this year which in turn has had an obvious adverse effect on the qualifying period to the Welsh Junior/Welsh Veteran competition. 

‘As a result of the pandemic we felt it only fair to all exhibitors to cancel next year’s competition with a view to holding the next competition in February 2022 which will place all exhibitors on a fairer and more level playing field.

‘The organisers and myself share your disappointment and sadness that the competition must be cancelled, however all being well the next competition will take place on Saturday 26 February 2022 at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells.’
