What is Best Russian Dog?

 More than 6 years ago Nicolas Pineiro, the founder of the project, conceived a bold plan to establish a platform for professional cynological society in Russia. The third year of the successful performance demonstrates that BRD was not just a dream but a necessary tool. It helps define top breeders and handlers, provides recognition of merits and assists amateurs and prospective dog owners in the choice of a kennel. 

The ranking has clear rules and autonomous operation so that breeders, handlers and dog owners do not need to make additional efforts – to get into the database, they just need to win dog shows. The BRD team processes reports of final contests and updates Groups, Best in Show and Juniors rankings.

According to the annual results top dogs accompanied by breeders, handlers and owners participate in Best Russian Dog Gala dinner. It is a grand event that brings together representatives of professional society, public associations and cynological units in government structures. Gala dinner gives professionals and volunteers a real feeling of importance and unity, shows the high value of their work.
