THIS is the first time that the Rotterdam Show has been a double show (the 38th and 39th Shows). Both days had a great entry of 1,544 dogs, making a total over the two days of 3,088 dogs. This was a new date for the shows because the European Dog Show was being held on the same dates, but next year the Rotterdam shows will move back to their usual dates towards the end of August.

The venue was held on a great showground as usual. Saturday was not very good weatherwise, but Sunday was better.

There wasn’t a main sponsor of the show. There was lovely organisation by the experienced committee and great volunteers.

The UK bred and owned Rottweiler, Ch Minaelae Black Mambo, owned and bred by Robert and Donna Taylor, becomes the first English bred Rottweiler to win a group placing in the Netherlands.
