At the Munster Canine Association Championship show in Fermoy, David McKenna of the Davdeir Bouviers selected Olive Taylor's Chow Chow male Cladev's Starstruck with Taylorian as the Puppy Stakes winner and qualifier for the Combined Canine GAIN Pup of the Year 2012 Final to be held next Easter.

Newtownards Champ Show

Newtownards and District Canine Club's annual Championship under Irish Kennel Club rules event took place at the Ard's Rugby Club in Northern Ireland last Sunday where the team and the exhibitors battled the elements which made it a difficult day for all involved due to the high winds which hit the area over the weekend.

The annual Irish Kennel Club supported Minority Breeds Charity Open Show was held at the National Show Centre in Dublin where exhibitors and organisers came together to raise funds for the chosen charity of the year which for 2011 is the Assistance Dog Programme for Families of Children with Autism.
