Boe Double Show, Norway

Friday’s Best in Show at Boe was the Dobermann, Int Ch J’adore Gucci v Nobel Line, owned by Ingrid Wesenberg. Left is BIS Judge Aase Jakobsen (Norway) and on the right is Group Judge, Nadia Timmermans-Kadenko (Netherlands).
The Norwegian Kennel Club held a double show at Boe, in Southern Norway, in the County of Telemark, in the middle of February.

A great show in beautiful Norway

Sandefjord Hundeklubb MANY THANKS to Jon-Atle Andresen, Rune Huseby, Ann Wiseman Standal,  Gry Live Gulliksen and all the team at Sandefjord Hundeklubb for their great event on the 17th & 18th of January in Norway.  It was my first time visiting and judging in Norway and I found the country beautiful, the people very friendly and the dogs very good.

Record breaking dog event

Norway’s biggest show weekend took place from November 14th to 16th. The weekend started with the Norwegian Winner Show on Friday with a huge entry of over 7,000 dogs from 21 countries in 306 breeds! This was followed by the Nordic Winner on Saturday and Sunday, which, this year, was organised by  the Norwegian Kennel Club, so in total the entry was 14,000 dogs in three days in this small town, Lilestrom, just 10 minutes…

“Harriet” Top Dog in Norway

Dogs4All, this year’s main event for dog lovers in Norway is now over, and the Norwegian Kennel Club hopes all our guests, visitors and competitors, enjoyed their weekend with us at Norway Trade Fairs! November 16th & 17th were two memorable days with the highlights being a Nordic Championship in Obedience and three Norwegian Championships (agility, junior handling and heelwork to music, respectively).

Greyhound halfway leader for Top Dog of Norway

Summer is in full swing and we are just halfway in the show season. The present leaders have some serious maths to do now as the race for Top Dogs is about to get double hot. So far there have been 6 International All-Breed Shows in Norway, all of which entries have been extremely international, despite the country’s geographically rather isolated position, and so were the judging panels: five out of the six Best in…
