11th Fundão National Dog Show took place on the February 29 and March 1 with an entry of 334 dogs. Best in Show was judged by Olga Grin (RU) and the winner was the Samoyed.

The first weekend in February took place in Lisbon the "Pet Festival 2020" the biggest event dedicated to pets that takes place in Portugal, which received 35,000 visitors.

Best in Show at Santarem in Portugal was the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Golden Boy Du Bois De Villier, owned by Mme Lhonore-Schnisa and bred by Mm Hémelot. Handled by Cedric Jegou, sent through from the Breed Class by Paul Scanlon (Ireland). Hans Boelaars from Holland was the Group Judge. Manuel Loureiro Borges from Portugal made the final choice for BIS.
