Of the U.K. show dogs that travelled to PalExpo in Geneve, Switzerland for the World Dog Show and Grand Prix de Geneve on 23rd - 27th August, only a few Vulnerable Native Breeds made the long journey. One was Anamaria Agache from Surrey and her team from Evforce Harriers for the Group 6 Scent Hound competitions with 2 of her dogs. Melanie Raymond, John Shaw and Kerry Kirtley’s number 1 dog in the UK, Ch Brighttouch Drift The Line Through Dialynne (Imp) took BOB at the show after Mel travelled with husband and friends over land and sea to get there!
A great result for Team Viking. Another Brit who didn’t waste a journey to Geneva was Mike Wildman with Cocker Frankie, who took BOB and group 3 following a super run of wins in the UK. Jason Lynn had a great show over in Switzerland, and Boomer, aka Hallifax Hightide Hedonist at Afterglow, got Best of Breed and was shortlisted in the group.
