Best in show at Crufts last Sunday, to the crowd’s delight, was the Wire Haired Dachshund, Ch Silvae Trademark owned by Duncan and Kim McCalmont. Maisie triumphed over seven fantastic dogs in the final, but stood out for judge Anne Macdonald. After four momentous days, a new Crufts Best in Show winner was crowned as Ch Silvae Trademark, otherwise known as Maisie, a Wire-Haired Dachshund, and took home the coveted title last Sunday night after what can only be described as a ‘unique’ Crufts event.
